An evening for connection, appreciation and looking ahead: To mark its 125th anniversary, SIKA welcomed guests from business, politics, the region and its international corporate network to Kaufungen.
An anniversary is not defined by numbers, but by the people who make it possible. To celebrate 125 years of SIKA, the company hosted a gala evening in Kaufungen on Thursday evening together with guests from business, politics and the region, international partners, long-standing companions and people from within the company.
The evening was deliberately more than a look back. It was a meeting point for exchange, personal encounters and new perspectives. In a festive setting with show acts, conversations and shared moments, it became clear what has shaped SIKA for decades: reliability, responsibility, technical passion and a strong network.
The connection to the region also played a central role. Alongside international guests, representatives from Northern Hesse and Kaufungen were also in attendance. The evening made one thing very clear: SIKA operates worldwide while remaining firmly rooted in the region.
A special moment was the presentation of the anniversary certificate by Désirée Derin-Holzapfel, President of the Kassel-Marburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce. With this, she recognised 125 years of company history, continuity and SIKA’s development as an industrial company in Northern Hesse.
