Due to the increasing complexity of the products, rapid technological development and the emergence of newer, larger economic areas, universally applicable quality control becomes increasingly important.

Those responsible for manufacturing processing and controlling should be able to rely to a greater extent on the necessary measuring processes and results and their quality.

Conformity between quality requirements and quality characteristics must be constantly checked and documented.

Depending on the degree of accuracy required, these inspections can be carried out internally, or externally by the laboratories of the Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD).
